The blog author likes to dress up when he reads!

I like to dress up when I read!

Today, Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign is setting a new world record for the “largest shared reading experience” in an effort to raise awareness for the power of early childhood literacy and to raise funds funds for early education in low-income communities. It’s a fantastic idea and I encourage you to learn more here and by visiting the Jumpstart web site.

I am a HUGE believer in the power of storytelling to forever alter the way we look at the world. The stories your parents read to you — and the stories you read to your children — have created new pathways inside of you. I believe Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign is a good thing — but you don’t need to be part of a world record in order to change the world.

READ TO A CHILD TODAY!

Tomorrow, I’ll harp on about the power of brand storytelling. Today I’m in a different place.
